What is RKC? RKC is a 'hard style' of kettlebell training that chooses power over efficiency. In other words, it chooses ‘power production over power conservation’ using appropriate techniques and maximum power in the shortest time possible. RKC practitioners get their share of conditioning but strength always remains a priority. We view strength as a skill with incidental flexibility taking the brakes off your strength and making the joints strong yet pliable with greater safety and simplicity. The RKC teaches how to focus the scattered energies of the body into a directed all-out effort while minimizing the odds of injuries.

Most of my innovative training systems from the iron game are refinements of reliable methods from yesteryears.  The sources of information I utilize in the art of strength and muscular development come from weightlifting, powerlifting, bodybuilding, modern physical therapy, and scientific research.  My integrative approach is all about simple, sane, and PRODUCTIVE training, using sensible training tools and crude homemade equipment that take up little space.

Keep in mind, my training methodologies will only work for SERIOUS TRAINEES who have the COURAGE, PATIENCE, DETERMINATION, and a deep burning desire to attain striking muscle mass and raw functional power.

My personal training services and guiding principles are inseparable and built on the following powerful idea:

WELL-ROUNDED DEVELOPMENT and a good NUTRITION PLAN for optimal hormonal response is the key to building a SOLID physical and mental foundation for healthy living.

By consistently honoring this ever-important and timeless training philosophy I am able to safely develop in my clients sporting qualities such as stability, mobility, all types of strength, speed, flexibility, power, good coordination, endurance, and tenacious will-power.

Of paramount importance to my teaching and training strategy is injury prevention.  I take a multidimensional approach to safety in the arena of performance and here are just a few examples of what I do to minimize injury risk:

1)  I emphasize perfect technique over specific routines and workouts. 

2)  I teach effective breathing techniques to minimize spinal load and amplify strength.

3)  I stress the concept of "Linkage" as well as other strength increasing reflexes.

4)  Introductory trainees are scrutinized for imbalances in muscular strength, mobility, and stability and assigned corrective strategies.
